The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was quiet, and the location was lovely, near the famous Pennyloafers shop and the Flåm railway.

A nice place for sightseeing in Aurland. Had easy check in. Affable staff and host, they treated us like family. It was located in a pretty quiet area on a farm.

Close to stunning Aurland and fantastic mountain pass, peaceful location with a nearby petrol station. Spacious family room, welcoming staff, clean apartment, and a beautiful stream. Numerous activities including hiking, cycling, and canoeing. Great recommendations for local attractions. Free parking, in-room breakfast, outdoor dining area, picnic tables, children's play area.

I had a blast fishing in the nearby river, it's like my own personal fishing spot. The Aurland mountain road was just 3 km away, perfect for a scenic drive. The free WiFi was a lifesaver!

Skahjem Gard is a hidden gem in Aurland/Flåm area. The converted farm offers a unique and local experience. The room was cute, comfortable, and great value for money. The location is perfect, with a stunning waterfall just a short walk away. The owner was fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Don't forget to try the delicious local food and ice cream at the reception.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, perhaps by offering more variety.

We had a really nice stay at Skahjem Gard in Aurland. the housekeeper was very kind and the surroundings were beautiful. the host provided helpful tips about the area and even offered to drop us off at the ferry station. the room was clean and the waterfall and river nearby created a serene atmosphere. It was a great place to stay for a night while traveling through Norway. the location was also convenient, being only 5-7 km away from a beautiful viewpoint on the fjord. it was a really nice stay for a family, especially considering the price.

We loved the cosy and comfortable cabin with great WiFi and a fully stocked kitchenette, perfect for cooking our own meals. the location was amazing for hiking and exploring natural beauty, close to Flam and Nærøyfjord. the friendly and helpful host made our stay even better.

One downside is that it can be difficult to reach the hotel using public transport. It is recommended for those with a car, as it may be challenging to navigate without one.

The walls were quite thin, so we could hear noise from other guests, which made it a bit difficult to sleep. the doors didn't have stoppers, so they tended to slam shut, sometimes accidentally.
